Mary Ann Mayhew
Chief Operating Officer
Mary Ann Mayhew is the Chief Operating Officer of VetFed Resources, Inc., a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB). Ms. Mayhew directs company operations, business development, and administration. She brings to VetFed 30 years executive level experience in establishing, growing, and managing businesses.
In previous positions, Ms. Mayhew has managed day-to-day operations to achieve financial results, directed corporate strategic business development, and served as chief legal officer. She is an experienced entrepreneur who has successfully launched new businesses, obtained private investment capital, and served as President and CEO of large and small organizations, public and private.
An eighteen-year career with Computer Data Systems, Inc. (CDSI), a nationwide federal systems integrator, built Ms. Mayhew’s broad foundation of expertise. Through successive promotions, she served as Executive Vice President of Contracts and Legal Services, Executive Vice President of Business Development, and President of CDSI/ITS, a $170 million, 2,600-employee business segment of this publicly held company.
As a business entrepreneur and investor, Ms. Mayhew designed the launch of a technology-driven adult education and workforce training company. As CEO, she presented at Springboard Enterprises’ 2000 Venture Capital Forum, a catalyst for women entrepreneurs seeking equity capital.
Ms. Mayhew has served as President of an employee-owned consumer products IT company, and has held executive level positions with a publicly held litigation support firm and an information technology services company. As a Government Industry Specialist at a major international law firm, she provided practical business advice and legal guidance to clients doing business with the federal government.
Ms. Mayhew holds a JD degree from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and a BBA in Marketing from Florida International University.
She was selected as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women by the Daily Record.
